I've was awarded with this initial position and i want to share (attached save game).

Of course coral reef is there, with two reachable fish hexes several hills and one cotton!!
Surrounding area is a strong defensive position (sea at east and south, mountains at north).
Expansion área is west and south west (península there). West provides several hills, jungle and cotton. South west península is almost plain providing more cotton and .... IRON!!!
Proper 2nd city placement at west will provide cotton monopoly!!.
some horses are available as well.
Proper exploration (as fast as posible, take two explorers to north and south following the coast). Depending on how fast and lucky you are, some of remaining 4 NW can be reached before others.
Closest treath is Caty, situated west. so prepare for an early war. She is situatedin a very good initial position, mixed desert, river, hills with gold.
Second victim is sweden, situated north (far enough to not become an inmediate enemy).
In the long term, Siam is the major treath, becauseit's situated at north/center and having large empty land at west and south. Only Inca are close to him so depending who wins their war, major treath will be Siam or Inca.
MY WAY TO WIN THE GAME

It take me several attempts, what i've found as a winning starting strategy was:
-Found capital on the hill (turn 5) to get 2nd pop and buy two scout, coral reef tiles, go for POTTERY and start building a worker.
- First scout sent straight west, surrounding russia to the south. With some luck I've discovered second NW before others. Then go west as straight as posible, and fouth NW can be found before others as well.
-Second scout sent noth-west (a bit west at the begining because the mountains). Third NW can be foud but it's almost imposible to arrive there before others. Continue north-west until reaching almathy and then straight west following the coast. Last NW is at the end of the way. in my game i was able to reach two of those 4 NW before others.
-Got MINING from ruins with the warrior. Don't used warrior as explorer, i've take it back to capital to deal with barbarians fter locatiing two closest city states.
-Started building mines with first worker
-Second tech was WRITTING and then started building Great Library.
After that techs were:
-Archery
-Animal Husbandry
-Bronze working:
Very important, i've used Great library to get Iron Working. This was key to deal with Russia (getting Philosophy and build National College asap didn't work because Russia....)
-Calendar (so i started getting gold for cotton. In maratón, friendly ones provided up to 360gp or 8gpt giving them an additional 18gp as deal)
-Construction until 1 turn remaining (I've finished it when Caty started deployment of troops along my borders)
-Mathematics
Very important, after disrupting Caty's attack, i've startd pursue until conquering Moscow, so siege units were required.
-Remaing techs to get Physics
Very important, although first/second russian cities were conquered with catapults, Moscow was 20-25 defense points when i was ready to attack so trebuchet were required.
FOUNDING CITIES:

I've followed Tabarnak's four-city opening guide a bit.....
- Second city founded by rush by settler. Selected desert hill/coast tile surrounded by cotton (beside weat). There is a 2 iron forest tile in range (I pay gold for that tile)
Very important to not foud the city brfore getting first social policy!!!
-Third city at swamp tile on south west península.
-Fourth city between capital and second city, on the sheep tile (so CITRICS and HORSES were in range). FOUNDED AFTER NATIONAL COLLEGE WAS BUILT
BUILD strategy:

CAPITAL
-As said, worker and then Great Library
-Rush buy Archer to deal with barbarians . I was lucky enough to get friend with closest city states because this).
-Pyramids!!! to get two extra workers and then get cotton and iron asap..
Very important, to avoud others buliding pyramids before me I carefully micromanaged the capital (using the extra hammers trick on pop growing turn). It's important to reach 5 pop at capital asap miximizing production at same time.
-Archer
-Settler for third city (after getting 5 size pop and pyramids) .
-Lancer to deal with Caty's chariots
-Hanging Gardens!!!!!
-Catapults (3)
-National college (asap)
Second and third city
-Archer->Granary->Library
