I saw Shaka at war with Poland and he had 4 Impi surround a Polish swordsman and attack but instead of each Impi individually throwing a spear and then attacking, all 4 Impi threw their spears first, severely weakening the fortified swordsman, then the final Impi finished him off. Of course this meant that instead of having 2-3 damaged Impi he had only 1 damaged Impi. Bug? Maybe this is the real reason the Shaka AI eats up other Civilizations so easily.
