Hi,
I have a question regarding siege warfare in early (Before Medieval) stages...
Say I play Roman Empire, I can field Spearmen, Legion, Ballista, and Composite Bowmen. Which units I shuld produce to attack another civilization's cities? I am asking because I just finished VERY bloody campaign against Babylonians (bloody mostly due to my tactical errors, and bad terrain) in which I used composite bowmen rather than ballista (they are faster, and no longer have penalty in attaking cities), and legion. I tried to use cavalry to harass their Babylonian Bowmen, but it was unable to manover (jungle:/) and was instant killed.
Edit 1
I just read that range units (like archers) can actually capture Cities. Is it true?
