I was trying to win a game on King as Isabella, standard size pangaea map, with Maria being my only shared borders besides a few CS.
She DOW's me and then sends a wave of like 8 missionaries around my four-city civ, even though my entire civ was already following her religion (Buddhism) as i didn't get my own in time. The city states were also converted.
I took like 4 of her missionaries and she kept either cranking out replacements or sending in more from her mighty stash, i don't know. Can't you only get missionaries with faith? Goodness, how much was she pulling in per turn... :eek:
I don't get what the AI's plan was, her two beliefs with any effects that mattered were Defender of the Faith and the one where you get 100 gold for converting a city. Considering how hard King is compared to Prince I wouldn't expect that kind of AI behavior. If her plan was to get to other civs, she had a much shorter route by water where i clearly couldn't reach her, but instead she was sending them all right into the line of fire so they could just preach to the choir. :rolleyes:
