Does anyone know how food storage works in Civ 5?
According to a thread on the bug reports forum, food storage works like granaries in Civ 4. This seems to match what I've seen the game do, and what I could glean from glancing over the core files.
If this is the case, does anyone know how the game handles storage modifiers over 50%? If a newly-grown city starts at 50% food, it only can store another 50% food before it grows again, which would mean the Civ 4 style system cannot do more than double city growth. If this is the case, the medical lab would provide only a 10% benefit instead of 25%. This logical error would contradict the other information I've been able to find.
