I have this probably drop-dead simple question but I can't find the answer to it. And yes, I know I can "just do it" to try, but I'm @work, son is visiting this weekend (in a few hours), I'd need him in order to test it, and I'd much prefer knowing ahead of time if it can't work (vs. us both being frustrated an failing and him maybe hating the game).
I had Civ5 and just added G&K over Tgiving week.
At the same time, son bought Civ5 GOTY with his own Steam account, but not G&K (I don't know why not).
If we want to try MP for the first time, can I host a game w/ my G&K and he can link up to it via his GOTY? Might the G&K features still work for him, or would I need to disable that before starting the game to make it work?
