I don't post much, sorry if this is in the wrong spot. Please let me know if it is.
I installed BUG and BULL to the single player specifications and it does run. However, when I am hovering over an enemy unit (and trying to get advanced combat odds to work) it shows "TXT_KEY_.....ACO" followed underneath by a nice healthy giant pink bar. Obviously something is not pointing to the correct file and I think I know why.
I installed Civ 4 (all of it) to my "E:" drive, not my "C:" drive. Now, when I downloaded the 3.19 patch it still creates the patch files in the "../mydocuments/beyondthesword/". I wish I could have specified to put them somewhere else (like in my "E:" drive) but I don't want to run into more pointer issues...
P.S. Its not only advanced combat odds that don't work, there are a couple others too. But i'm betting one will fix the other.
Any help would be much appreciated. I was also hoping to install the better AI mod but I fear that I will keep running into pointer problems because of my installation structure. If there is anything I can do to explain further please let me know! Thanks!
