I just quickly browsed through the 2K live stream about the Civil War scenario... I am not really interested in that scenario that much, but I stumbled into a very important piece of information regarding BNW: the happiness system has been reworked according to Ed Beach, and apparently in the right direction. He specifically mentioned the levelling of the competing field in terms of happiness with the AI (less bonuses).
If that is a fact, this is huge news to me. If one thing has broken immersion for me consistently in Civ5, that thing was the blatant happiness cheating of the AI. This is indeed most welcome news!
