One of the, if not the, biggest marathon events in the world.
Hundreds of thousands of applications out of which forty-seven thousand were chosen.
Runners that have trained for months to compete. Saved up money.
Took time off from their jobs, arranged plane tickets, hotels rooms and everything that goes with it.
Hundreds of companies involved, some dependent on the NYC Marathon for their sole survival.
The marathon could give the city an economic and humanitarian impulse.
So, what are your thoughts?
Should Bloomberg have continued with the marathon?
