Basically as the title says. I created the mod in ModBuddy (which as far as I can tell is set up right) and then copy&pasted the needed sections from Gods and Kings files into new text files where I proceeded to change the needed entries. I then right clicked on the mod name to go into 'Actions' tab where I set each XML file I changed to "On Mod Activated" and "Update Database". Then, I made sure to build the mod by right clicking on the mod name and selecting "build". (I also built the solution.)
Then I loaded up Civ5 to test it out. I selected it from the mod list and made sure it was enabled, but when I went to select a civ the only options were the vanilla civs.
Thinking the XML files might have gotten misplaced for some reason, I went into the modbuddy folder. When I went into the modbuddy file structur it was like this:
FiraxisModbuddy->Morrowind (mod name) which had Packages/ Build/ Morrowind/ Morrowind.civ5suo/ Morrowind Solution.
'Packages' had Morrowind.civ5mod
'Build' had another Morrowind folder inside of it with the XML folder (with the files) and Morrowind.modinfo
'Morrowind' had the XML folder (with the files) and a Morrowind Civ5 project.
As far as I can tell I followed the guide Kael has made and I have a pretty good grasp of editing Civ4 XML files. Furthermore, I did not see any guide immediately related to 'your civs don't show up in the mod-select screen' so I thought I would ask here.
Also, I haven't bothered making new art for anything yet so all the civ art defines are the exact same as vanilla ones. Furthermore, the Modbuddy is running through Steam and Steam is running in administrator mode.
Any help?
