Help installing mods

I have read the sticked topic about this so please don't cirect me there unless there is no other way :)

I have CivIv complete and with it came a few so so mods. I was looking to install some more to keep the game interesting but I can't seem to find the program files anywhere (windows 7) I am an admin but no matter where I look I can't find them (just the mydocument ones which from reading dont work for mods).

So could anyone be of assistance in directing me to where I can find them?
