One thing I'd *love* to see in this expansion is more options within Diplomacy. I've already mentioned bringing back Pacts of Secrecy-post Middle Ages-& I agree with Arioch that we need the option to *demand* more things-most especially demand that they attack or don't attack certain City States.
What is really missing, though, is a genuine differential in attitudes. Right now it seems rather limited. Beyond Neutral, I'd at least like to see Trusting, Friendly & Ecstatic as positive attitudes, & Distrustful, Unfriendly & Hatred as negative attitudes-being replaced by Awe (Positive)/Fear (Negative) if you are much more powerful than them & Pity/Scorn if you're far more weaker than them. Beyond the obvious cosmetics, I'd like to see these attitudes have a much greater impact on what you can get in either trade or demands.
What are your thoughts, & is there anything else anyone would like to see to expand our diplomatic options?
Aussie.
