What do you think of this case, then?

Mick Philpott was living with his wife and their six children, and his girlfriend with her five children.
His girlfriend leaves the "family" home taking her children.
Philpott hatches a plan to get custody of the five children. His plan is simplicity itself: he'll set his house on fire, rescue his children and get hailed as a hero.
Plan goes horribly wrong. And all six children die.
Philpott gets a life sentence for manslaughter, with a minimum term of 15 years.
Chancellor of the Exchequer says this is a good example of people claiming too much welfare.
