Though Gods & Kings is pretty universally hailed as a fantastic expansion for Civ5, most players seem to agree that the Espionage mechanic...needs some work. Do we think Brave New World will expand on and improve the Espionage mechanic? How would it?
I assume that Espionage may have a role to play in the new Diplomacy options. Perhaps someone's diplomat to the World Congress "gets lost" on his way to a vote. Maybe a trade of a vote, or I tell Elizabeth you're mounting an invasion. Espionage and diplomacy certainly do have a history together and that would make spies much more fun to play with.
It would also be nice if most of the Espionage menu were moved into the regular map (no, I don't remember if that City State near my borders is Budapest or Bucharest...Ugh, I have to leave the menu to check!?!). And a seek and kill opposing spies option would be welcomed.
