Trying to create a European WWII era scenario that starts in 1932. The only real problem is that I want the Axis to be all one civ and to include all the different nations which were in the Axis by 1941, however, would that be too ahistorical? So for instance the Axis Civ would include Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania & Finland (possibly Austria and maybe Czechoslovakia, not sure yet). what do you guys think? Doable or too unrealistic?
So far I've taken MiChello's Civ II WW2 scenario as a base and added some extra units, a few new cities and reworked the terrain on a few places on the map. Trying to keep things relatively simple. I'm only using a few hand picked units, mostly Firaxis to do the scenario.
Below is a screen shot of Gibraltar. No one's getting out of the Mediterranean without Gibraltar. The peninsula on the south side of Gibraltar is LM plains and can't support roads so no one will be building a trans-Europe/Africa railroad either.
