[G&K] graphics problems

new game. game opens. fog of war is a black mass. settler and warrior ok. black mass disappears like normal white fow.

options: video: all at default levels. that is mostly minimum values.

OS X 10.8.2
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB

any ideas?
