in the 600 AD games, conquering Alexandria is too important if you are one of the colonial sea nations.
For england, this does sorta makes sense as they indeed did get egypt somewhere in the later half of the second millenium, but for others not so much
not very historically accurate that this classical age wonder is so good and lasts until corporation (19th century), and it can be argued that this is the best wonder in the game.
Perhaps, it could just give its city 4 trade routes and trade route yield or something.
Its just too tempting to go conquer that city only with almost any nation.
