Which weapons are inspirations for Civ V units?

Ok, the units in Civ V and previous Civs usually represent a certain unit / weapon system from real history, for example in Civ IV the tank unit is a Sherman tank.

What units are in Civ V? I know of:

Great War bomber - German gotha bomber
Fighter - German messerschmitt
Bomber - British Lancaster heavy bomber
